If this question makes you uncomfortable, you don't need to answer it, but is it ok for me to ask what physical changes you've gone through in transitioning? Total?

it’s ok. :)

so far, i’m only on hormones. so i’ve been taking estrogen and a testosterone blocker for six months. it takes a couple of years, typically, for the transition to really take hold, but six months is a decent start. my chest has gotten tender and grown quite a bit. my skin has gotten softer. i am just maybe starting to see a bit of change in my face — six months is a bit early for that, but it could be starting — which is VERY exciting. :) … i still have orgasms, but they are harder to achieve and they are now dry. they also are way more intense — like a full-body thing now. i’m far less interested in sex, though, so it doesn’t happen often.

my plan this summer or fall is to get an orchiectomy (testicles removed) so that there is no more testosterone in my system and thus no need to take something to block it. i’ve also heard that the female hormones work even better after that, so that’s a big plus. … i might one day like to have full surgery. luckily what i have now doesn’t bother me that much, and i didn’t think i would want to do the full gender confirmation surgery at first, but now i can very much see myself being happy with it. but right now i can’t envision being able to afford it.
