I think you look beautiful as a lady. I know someone who was trans but was constantly harassed for the way she dressed (people would always yell at her for wearing dresses) does that happen to you?

thank you so much. :)

i am fortunate to have never really experienced any outright mistreatment. although i’ve been agonizing about my appearance, to strangers i look female enough where i probably don’t stick out as much as i imagine i do. people call me “ma’am” and “miss” quite often, which is wonderful. while all trans* people deserve respect and deserve to feel safe and confident in who they are, i am sure that having a naturally feminine body and appearance helps me to blend in more than some people. (though there are many, many girls all over tumblr who are far more stunning than i could ever hope to be!)

the city where i live is a rather liberal one (or at least a place where people just live and let live). people have been respectful.

i also honestly don’t wear tons of dresses. it’s cold in northern minnesota for most of the year. but i plan on wearing dresses much more as i change and become happier (i hope) with myself physically.
