anything for you, jeba. <3

43: i have many. but one of the very loveliest is “góðan daginn” from the icelandic band sigur rós. listen to it here. if i ever am lucky enough to get married one day, i will dance to that song at my wedding.

44: a great relationship, in my mind, comes when two people are just enough alike to share some opinions and attractions and interests, but just different enough that they can learn from one another and keep a sense of curiosity, of freshness, about one another. a great relationship comes when both parties when both parties love, respect and care for not only each other but also themselves. a good relationship takes empathy, thoughtfulness, patience and sometimes selflessness. and perhaps most importantly, a good relationship takes complete trust.

20: i wish soooo much that i believed in ghosts. death is my biggest fear in the world. i can’t fathom the concept of not existing one day. and it is a terrifying prospect that once i die, it’s quite possible that there is nothing. blackness. and everything you are, everything you’ve experienced, is gone. … it seems highly unlikely to me that there is life after death of any kind, and thus it is tough for me to believe in ghosts. … but honestly, i do very much hope that ghosts exist. i would feel so much better if i were haunted. … … as for aliens, i think about them less often, but on that question, probability would lead me to believe they do exist. just as the odds seem against an afterlife, they very much seem in favour of life somewhere else in the universe besides earth. i simply can’t believe the life on this planet is the only life in all of existence.

interesting, that question — it really is a question of both life and death.
