but that’s the plan. i’m supposed to go down to minneapolis on wednesday to see my therapist and the endocrinologist. i sent the endo some lab work i had done here in duluth (results good) along with a letter just telling her that i’m expecting to get my prescriptions when i see her. we haven’t talked much about what the regimen will be since i last saw her way back in march, but i expect i’ll start with an estrogen patch and with spiro. i really want to be on both from the start. anyway, we’ll see …
in other news, i had my first electrolysis appointment yesterday. the visit itself wasn’t that bad (we did my upper lip), but omg, my skin was so mad at me afterward. even today, it’s still pretty red. i’m a little concerned about having to do the rest of my face with that kind of reaction. but i’m hoping the other areas won’t be quite as sensitive. my first two-hour appointment was $130, and i’m supposed to go back every two weeks for a while. … oh, to be doing this in any other developed country in the world, where it would be paid for …
